Mit dem Einheben des allerletzten Gleises erfolgte am Freitag, 13. Juli 2018 der eigentliche Lückenschluss der langerkämpften Durchbindung unserer beiden Bahnen!

Dieser bewegende Moment und Meilenstein der Eisenbahngeschichte soll aber die anderen Leistungen nicht schmälern, die in KW 28 sonst noch geschehen sind: Auf der Brücke wurden die Schienen vergossen, die seeseitige Fahrbahn wurde bewehrt und betoniert, der Gleisbau in den Anschlussbereichen auf beiden Seiten insgesamt sehr gut vorangebracht, Kabel eingezogen und vieles mehr. Alles läuft auf Hochtouren!
